I’ve been interested in spirituality and the occult since my early teens. Since then I’ve dabbled in many different religions and spiritual practices, including Thelema, Gnosticism, Voodoo & Santeria, Daoism, and Buddhism. I’ve written and lectured widely on the occult, culminating in the book Abrahadabra – a beginners guide to Thelema, and The Grimoire of Aleister Crowley. I’ve also written the introduction for Lon Milo DuQuette’s excellent book The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford, which I highly recommend to all who are interested in Qabalah, and way too lazy to actually go out and really study it (like me).
